Lyndon Yates is the owner, founder, and builder at Kiwi’s Custom Guns (KCG).  He was born and raised in New Zealand and although he has made California his home, he will be a lifelong “kiwi” at heart.  In 2012, he started his gun manufacturing  business in Riverbank, California specializing in the restoration of military firearms.  He has over  20 years of experience in gunsmithing and repair and has extensive background training with firearms.  Prior to KCG, Lyndon enjoyed a 15 year career in law enforcement, and spent 8 years in the U.S. Army as an infantryman, serving in both Bosnia and Macedonia. He has also served as an RTO and firearms instructor at the Ray Simon Police Academy as well as a firearms instructor and armorer for the Modesto Police Department.  Lyndon takes great pride in the handcrafted workmanship of the firearms he manufactures and works hard to ensure every gun is built with the exceptional quality that KCG is known for.
